Life Will Go By Fast – Heed Pope Francis Insights on Living and More

I do not wish people to think like me( I’m no rocket scientist anyway)

Except in one area – I wish everyone can discover and capitalise on their strengths and talents.

Why?

We spend most of our short lifetime at work; and if we are not happy with what we do most of our time, its difficult to feel fulfilled in life.

In his latest papal missive, Pope Francis reminded us that:

Life will go by fast…”

He also had this to say about life:

Don’t fight with people, d’on’t criticise your body so much, don’t complain so much.

Don’t loose sleep over your bills. Look for the person that makes you happy. If you make a mistake, let it go and keep looking for your happiness. Never stop being a good parent ….”

Profound advice from his holiness.

On vocations, Pope Francis might as well have added:

” Look for the job that makes you happy; and if you make a mistake, keep looking for what God gave you the talents and the unique strengths to do”.

Addressing students at Stanford University on commencement day in 2005, Steve Jobs echoed similar sentiments.

He said: ” I was lucky — I found what I loved to do early in lifeYou’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.”

And definitely don’t stop being a good parent, as Pope Francis had advised.

Don’t gamble with your children’s life and future – or yours – it will go by fast.

Don’t thumb-suck their strengths either ( or yours or your employees/staff – if you’re in an organisation)
