Tomorrow, Wednesday 1 May, marks one week to the election on Wednesday 8 May. DA leaders across the country will be campaigning and spreading our message that only the DA can bring change that puts a job in every home, keep the lights on, fight corruption, lock up the criminals and speed up service delivery.
Tomorrow’s diary is as follows:
DA Leader Mmusi Maimane will give the keynote address at the Party’s Workers’ Day Rally in Cape Town. The DA Leader will be joined by DA Western Cape Premier Candidate, Alan Winde.

DA Eastern Cape Premier Candidate, Nqaba Bhanga, will lead a #Sidikiwe Youth Unemployment March on Workers’ Day in King Williams Town. This campaign aims to highlight that the youth of South Africa have had enough of unemployment and poor access to quality education.

Former DA Leader, Tony Leon, will address a townhall meeting in Chatsworth.

Northern Cape Premier Candidate, Andrew Louw, will be laying criminal charges against Sol Plaatje municipality, relating to fraud of funds intended for the families of deceased Sol Plaatje employees. He will be accompanied by families of the Saulspoort bus tragedy, as well as families of other employees who died while on duty at Sol Plaatjie municipality and have to receive the payouts due to them.

The DA North West Premier Candidate, Joe McGluwa, will engage the youth and hand over soccer balls at the local soccer club in Kagisana-Molopo local municipality. He will also embark on door-to-door visits in the area.

DA Limpopo Premier Candidate, Jacques Smalle, will address the province’s Workers’ Day rally in Louis Trichardt.
